The excavations on Çadır Höyük are of course limited to what can be found just under the slopes of the mound. But, if the site was hypothetically cut in half vertically, the stratigraphy might look something like this. The diagram depicts the average levels at which dated features have been found in the south and east step trenches. It represents an approximation of our current understanding of the stratigraphy of the site. Clicking on the highlighted areas provides specific examples of what we have found.
